What did Jesus do?

A イエスの父親のヨセフは大工でした。マタイ１２：５５ではイエスのことを大工の息子と呼んでいます。マルコ６：３では人々がイエスを大工と呼んでいます。このように家業を継ぐことが当時から普通だったのです。 Jesus' legal father, Joseph, was a carpenter. Matthew 13:55 calls Jesus a "carpenter's son." In Mark 6:3 some people said that Jesus was a carpenter. Many families did the same work or business for a long time.

Isn't he the carpenter's son? Isn't Mary his mother, and aren't James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas his brothers? (Matthew 13:55) この人は大工の息子ではないか。母親はマリアといい、兄弟はヤコブ、ヨセフ、シモン、ユダではないか。

When she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, and says to them, 'I am so happy I found the coin I lost. Let us celebrate!' Large crowds followed him from Galilee and the Ten Towns, from Jerusalem, Judea, and the land on the other side of the Jordan. イエスはガリラヤ中を回って、諸会堂で教え、御国の福音を宣べ伝え、また、民衆のありとあらゆる病気や患いをいやされた。そこで、イエスの評判がシリア中に広まった。人々がイエスのところへ、いろいろな病気や苦しみに悩む者、悪霊に取りつかれた者、てんかんの者、中風の者など、あらゆる病人を連れて来たので、これらの人々をいやされた。こうして、ガリラヤ、デカポリス、エルサレム、ユダヤ、ヨルダン川の向こう側から、大勢の群衆が来てイエスに従った。
